Senior Care Assistant (Days)

Your Role:

To support the Manager in providing leadership to the care staff within The Gables Residential Home.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • To provide physical and emotional support and care to the residents of our home, maintaining high standards of care and supervision of the daily routine.
  • To develop a stable and caring environment.
  • To develop a good working relationship with managers and with other colleagues.
  • To administer any medication as prescribed, ensuring that medication is taken and documented correctly.
  • To partake in training sessions and staff meetings as required.

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of NVQ Care level 3 is a required.
  • Team leadership skills to develop effective working relationships with all other members of staff within The Gables
  • A willingness to seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • A desire to work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for our residents.
  • The ability to lead by example

  • Hours: Day Shift including Weekends
  • Salary: £9.16 - £9.66 per hour
